Credit union members to vote on proposed merger

This week the members of three credit unions will vote on a proposed merger.

Advantage Credit Union, Spectra Credit Union and Affinity Credit Union have spent the past year investigating the benefits of a partnership between the organizations. Under this partnership all three organizations will come under the title of Affinity Credit Union, which will all their members utilize more branches across Saskatchewan.

Finance expert cautions over quick investments into near-record high DOW Jones

Dean Pellegrini is the current owner of Prince Albert’s Leon’s Furniture and said his family started selling furniture in the city in 1961 when his uncle opened Modern Home Furniture.

Then, 20 years ago, Dean and his brother Randy decided to join Leon’s as a franchise store.
