Boy grabbed while walking to school

The Saskatoon Police Service is reminding kids to be aware of their surroundings after a 12-year-old boy was allegedly grabbed by a man while walking to school in the Greystone Heights area today.

The boy told police he was able to run away after a man snuck up behind him and tried to grab his wrists.

It happened just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Quance Avenue.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 50-years-old with black and grey hair, and has a medium build. It's believed he was also wearing a white t-shirt.
