Tourism from Alberta to SK expected to increase

People don't have as much money to spend on vacations and that's directly impacting the tourism industry in Canada.

A report from the Tourism Research Institute says when families do travel this summer, they will be spending less.

The report also predicts more Albertans will be travelling to Saskatchewan for a holiday this summer.

On the downside, fewer Europeans will arrive in the province as tourists thanks to the continuing financial crisis.

Across Canada the tourism industry is only expected to grow modestly this year along with the cost of travelling which went up a great deal last year.
